Recognition of the corporation's quality system was achieved during recent auditing by
both NSF® and TUV®.
Both auditors recognized that the corporation's quality systems meet ISO 9002
standards, a internationally recognized twenty category standard for maintaining and
improving quality.
NSF® is an American based registrar and TUV is a German based registrar, together
providing a dual certification. Dual certification of Can Clay's quality system was in
response to the corporation's growing international sales.
At the time of the time of certification, Can Clay was the only North American producer
of vitrified clay pipes that had passed the rigorous requirements for a ISO 9002 quality
system and was one of a few North American producers of any types of pipe that have
achieved ISO 9002 status.
